Kimberley Leisure centre 3G Resurface
Blakedown have handed over the 3 artificial multi use pitches to Kimberley Leisure Centre following a resurface of the worn sand-dressed multi use pitches.
Following a competitive open tender procedure Blakedown removed and safely disposed of the old sand-dressed carpet then carried out remedial repairs to the in-situ shock pads on all 3 areas.
The new iDNA 50 3rd Generation monofilament carpet from FIFA preferred producer Desso was laid to all the pitches, which the council will arrange to be independently tested to FIFA playing standards.
The pitches accommodate 3 × 7-a-side football, 3 × 5-a-side and full 11-a-side football.
