Charters, Ascot Soft Landscaping
Blakedown Landscapes have completed soft landscaping works at the prestigious development Charters in Ascot, Berkshire.
This high profile estate also closely neighbouring Royal Windsor was once a 1920’s Art Deco Grade II listed building, the new landscape therefore had to be in keeping. New shrub beds were created along with extensive tree and shrub planting across the estate.
Over 200 metres of instant hedging was planted ranging from 1.2m high up to 1.8 high, along the hedging new automatic drip line irrigation was also installed. Finally the construction of a bespoke metal screen enclosing two of the new properties was installed; the metal trellis fixings were designed by Blakedown with the unique trellis designed by Enplan Architects. Further to this over 40 bespoke planters were built and planted giving a privacy screen to the communal areas.
The works also include 12 months maintenance.
